Course Description

This workshop teaches participants effective time management skills, tools and strategies that can be used to enable them to be more productive. 

Learning Objectives 

Upon successful completion of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate how to manage one’s time;
  • Create and prioritize SMART goals;
  • Handle and control interruptions;
  • Understand why we procrastinate and what to do about it.


#2 - Leading Change (3 Hours)
 

Course Description 

Change is inevitable and has become a part of everyday work life. This workshop helps participants understand how they are affected by change, and will give them strategies to manage and adapt to ever-changing environments.

Learning Objectives 

Participants will learn and be able to:

  • New ways of looking at change
  • How to recognize resistance to change
  • To understand the need for change
  • Tips that will help them embrace change

 

#3 - Tailor Your Leadership to Your Followers (3 hours)         (based upon the Best-Selling Book "Leading at a Higher Level" by Ken Blanchard) 

Course Description 

The purpose of this workshop is to help participants become more effective in leading individuals and groups by identifying the needs of their employees and then tailoring their management style to each situation.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Identify their personal leadership style;
  • Diagnose and recognize the level at which their employees are performing;
  • Utilize the tools introduced to become flexible leaders skilled at goal setting, coaching, and elevating the performance of their employees

 


#4 - Myers Briggs Personality Type: Appreciating Our Differences for the Best Communication and Teamwork (3 hours
)

Course Description

This highly interactive workshop provides participants the tools and understanding about their personality preferences and understanding characteristics unique to each personality type.  Learning this can provide insight on how to enhance communication and teamwork.

Learning Objectives

  • Self-assess and verify your MBTI type;
  • Recognize how types differ from one another;
  • Create an action plan to develop strengths and work on potential blind spots.

 

#5 - Interviewing Skills: How to "Hire for Attitude" (4 hours) 

Course Description 

Hiring the right people, selecting the right team members for projects, and partnering with the right vendor is absolutely critical to the success of an organization.   A good interview process helps in hiring, selecting and promoting the right people for jobs, projects, and vendor partnerships.  Through scenarios and activities, participants will experience the process of identifying critical skills and attitudes needed in candidates and how to develop and practice effective interview questions. 

Learning Objectives 

  • Behavioral interviewing - listening for SEARCH;
  • The importance of "Hiring for Attitude" and how to assess candidates, new team members and potential vendors
  • Basic interviewing skills, including building rapport and asking follow up questions


#6 - Customer Service: "How May I Serve You?" (4 hours)

Course Description  

Knowing how to give exceptional customer service is one of the keys to creating that "Loyal Ownership" mentality.  This workshop provides participants with tools necessary to identify good customer service when they see it and to understand that their internal and external customers exist equally.  It is the first step towards creating a sense of ownership towards a company’s customer service mission.

  • Understand the importance of excellent customer service to the organization and become that Loyal Owner
  • Develop better communication with customers

#7 - How to Create a Happy Workplace (8 Hours) 

Course Description

In this highly interactive workshop, leaders will learn the four principles any business needs to create a fully engaged and highly productive employee. Participants leaving this session will have the knowledge to immediately implement these low-cost, minimal time-consuming principles: Hiring and Selecting for Loyalty, Leading for a Loyal Following, Motivating to Create Loyalty and How to Make Employees Loyal Owners.

  • Gain an understanding of the necessary skills and attitudes needed in Loyalty Leaders
